OUR STORY

Here is the story behind the name. 

 

Growing up with an Asian background it seemed very odd to have freckles. I’m one of five girls and I was the only one who got them. The thing is it never really bothered me until my Aunty always pointed out why I had “fly poo” on my face, yes you heard correctly freckles in my language translates to “fly poo”. So throughout my beauty career, I tried countless treatments to try and fade these imperfections. I actually got quite close until I had my first baby, then came number 2, 3 and 4. It seemed like every time I looked in the mirror another fly had done their business on my face! I finally came to a realisation that freckles are a part of me, which I now embrace daily!

What really matters, is how I take care of my skin!

I then began brainstorming names with my sisters for my skincare line. I decided to throw out the name freckle (only as a joke) they all seemed to love it so it stuck, just like the fly poo to my face! It seemed so perfect that these imperfect dots on my face would be the name of my skincare range.
